Lipstick Lover

Hello there friends! I have been meaning to do a post about the numerous lipsticks that I use but I never got around to it until today! My mom ALWAYS goes to Macy's for the cool gifts they have when you spend a certain amount of money, which is where I got this handy-dandy lipstick holder box thingy! I used to have this small pouch that fit all of my lipsticks perfectly but since I've been getting more the pouch has been getting a little bit cramped. I thoroughly enjoy having this rack since I can easily choose any color I want (I tend to use a different color every day). I do have a few more colors but I use those less often so I don't find it necessary to put them in there. Also these are the ones that I use the most so it's nice to have them all in one place.

Since I am already making this post I might as well do a review right? These are the ones that I am absolutely in LOVE with. Well to be fair, every time I get a new color I use that one the most until I get a new one... Okay well first of all Baby Lips have been there for me through thick and thin. A little dramatic for chapstick, but it's true! So the green one is peppermint I believe and the blue one is just called Quenched...? I take the green one with me to school and I leave the blue one at home on my desk to use in the morning or before bed. They come on a bit glossy so I try not to use too much but they definitely do not ever
leave my lips dry!
Now the other two are Maybelline's  Color Whisper tinted chapstick in Pink Possibilities and A Plum Prospect. They are a lot less glossy than the Baby Lips but they are sooo soft. I have been using these every morning because the color is not too vibrant especially for school. The pink one is really light and the purple one doesn't go on too purple. They are definitely my current favorites.

Let me know how you like these!
Love,
Vy

Target Makeup Haul

Hello there! I apologize for not posting as much as I usually do but school has started and I've already been so busy (4 APs and an Honors are not the business)! Recently I've gotten something very exciting as a small present because it was actually bought for my whole family. I GOT A CAMERA! To be honest, I wanted one for a while but they're always extremely expensive so I waited. A week or so ago I asked my dad about getting one and I told him I'd pay for half of it. He then proceeded to announce that he already ordered a really fancy (and expensive) one and that it was coming in a few days! Sure enough it finally arrived today so I thought I would try it out for a Target Makeup Haul. For those of you who don't know, Target is an amazing store that has pretty much anything you can think of and I LOVE going there for everything. I've recently gone there to buy some new/old makeup (old makeup being the stuff that I have always used since forever). These products won't really have too much of a review because I love them all equally:)

Loreal British Red Lipstick: Really really bold color,
better for nights out or special events, not good on chapped lips
 (can get super flaky)

Baby Lips Chapstick: I can't remember what flavor this is
but it's not as scented as my other one. This is extremely
glossy for chapstick but it's pretty hydrating.

Sonia Kashuk Tinted Lip Balm in Hint of Coral: Super soft on the lips
and does its job as a chapstick. Very natural color that too bold or overpowering

Elf Matte Lip Color in Rich Red: Goes on like a lip pencil but that's
what makes it easy to outline your lips the way your like. The color is
somewhat bold mix of pinkish and red. I really enjoy how long
it lasts throughout the day

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation in Light Beige: Matches my skin
color so perfectly, never leaves the line at the chin even if you don't blend
really well. Sometimes I can't really tell how much I've put on because it's
so soft. Plus it really feels like it has a matte effect and doesn't seem like
you're wearing anything at all!

Covergirl Invisible Concealer in Light: This concealer is a little bit
too light for my skin to be honest but the coverage is great.
Covers dark spots amazingly and you could never tell I didn't get
enough sleep the night before! Also not very thick for a concealer
so I like it even more.

Neutrogena Skin-Clearing Foundation (I don't remember what shade):
Somewhat thick but it's not bad. Really smooth on the skin and I don't
have to feel bad about wearing it because it's meant to treat acne. Doesn't
ACTUALLY remove blemishes but also doesn't cause them.

This isn't a makeup product but it's one of my favorite things from Target/Neutrogena.
It's the Neutrogena Moisturizer for Tone Repair (and it has sunscreen in it). I love this
product because since I use it EVERY night it has been getting rid of all of my dark
spots. Obviously this isn't the only thing I use to get rid of them but I really think
it helps a lot. It does smell weird at first but you get used to it and once you see results
the smell doesn't matter at all anymore! Probably the best moisturizer I've had!

Clearly I am really into lipstick/lipcolor and these are only a few from the collection I have. These are also probably all of my favorite ones. I really enjoy using Neutrogena products because I trust they won't really ruin my skin as much as others would. I like the new products I've tried too. Haven't disappointed me! Somewhere in the future my friend, Janelle, and I will probably do another Target Haul because we both love it so much! Anyway hope you enjoyed!

Love,

The Body Shop Products Review

 Hi there!
So recently I have been really into face/body care products. My skin isn't TERRIBLE but I like to buy things for when something does pop up on my face. I think I was on Zoella's blog where I remembered that The Body Shop existed. I went online and found a good number of things for a pretty decent price because of all the sales that were going on when I bought them. I am actually really pleased with all of the products.

First of all, this is actually just a picture of the box that all the products came in. They were all buried under a HUGE pile of shredded paper things. I'm not really sure what to call them. I kind of had to dig through it to find everything. My cat does enjoy the box though so I've kept it.

This is the Mini Grapefruit Body Butter. I generally don't buy body butters and things like that because I like to stick to the cheap bottled lotion from a drug store but this was actually free. There was an ad on The Body Shop facebook page that offered a free mini product with the promo code "like" so I figured why not? Even though this was a mini body butter it was a little bit bigger than I expected which was totally fine with me. I love this body butter. A lot of the times I'm scared to buy fruit scented body butters or anything because they tend to smell extremely strong but the smell was really nice. It was light and you could almost eat it! Lastly, the body butter itself works so well. A few weeks ago I went to the beach and thought it'd be a good idea to NOT wear sunblock even though I was going to be in the sun for 10 hours. Anyway I ended up sunburned really badly and my legs started peeling (disgusting I know) but every time I've used this butter the skin wouldn't peel and it wouldn't look like it was either! So I am really really impressed with this product and if it is ever free again I'd definitely get it.

Unfortunately I have not tried this Mango Sugar Body Scrub yet but it smells wonderful. I think all Body Shop products always smell good enough to eat. The mango scent is light and sweet but it is not overpowering. As I said earlier I got sunburned and my skin is peeling, so I didn't think exfoliating my skin was the best idea. I don't regret buying this for $10 seeing as it was 50% off!

This is the Pressed Face Powder in Shade 06. I paid $9.50 because this was also on sale. I think this is one of my favorite makeup items. I usually don't wear a lot of makeup so I'm pretty picky with what I put on my face. I trust that this won't ruin my skin too badly because The Body Shop is pretty much known for skin care and things. I did buy this online but I was smart enough to go to the actual store and find out my shade so I was not worried about the color at all. I use this powder basically everyday because of how much I like the feel of it. I usually use foundation, then a concealer that is a little too light for my skin so using the powder makes me not too pale. Also, when I use it my face is smoother than ever. It leaves a really soft feel so you can't even tell that you're wearing it at all.

Lastly, the Tea Tree Blemish Gel Stick is awesome. This is mostly for the random pimples I get that are always extremely red. When I got it, I used it that same night and the pimple that I had was mostly gone. It was a lot more flat and the redness faded a great deal. Online it had good reviews so I thought I'd try it and I have to say they were pretty accurate. I'm in love with how fast this works and how all you have to do is dab it onto the spot and sleep it off. Then in the morning you're good to go! The best part was that I only paid $4.50 for this since it was a clearance item and those were buy one get one half off (the other item being the face powder).

I love all these products from The Body Shop
and I hope you found this review little helpful!

Love,
